The opportunity:

Social research has the power to improve lives. As one of our part time nurses/midwives, you’ll get to know this better than most. After all, when you’re out in the community meeting new people and using your talents in a different way, you’ll be helping to gather the data that informs the social policy of the future.

The skills you'll need:

We’re looking for friendly and courteous people with a good standard of written and spoken English, as well as the right to work in the UK. Beyond that, you’re going to need current registration to an NMC register, as well as membership to the RCN/RCM. Experience of taking blood samples in the last six months is necessary too, as is a full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Nice to know:

On average you can expect to earn £21 per hour, with enhancements for higher grades and for working in London and the South East. We’ll discuss this in more depth with you if your initial application is successful. And, if you’ve other commitments, you’ll be pleased to hear we offer very flexible working hours. Travel Time and Mileage is also paid. Finally, you must be able to provide evidence of immunity to Hepatitis B, Rubella, Measles and TB, as well as be willing to undergo a CRB check.
